# A teaser for the upcoming GPUSPH v6

We understand that the radio silence is suboptimal, but rest assured that we’re still working on GPUSPH v6. This is a significant release, with several new features and optimizations, and a revamped documentation. Getting all this right is taking more time than expected! Remember that you can checkout [the `spheric2022` branch](https://github.com/GPUSPH/gpusph/tree/spheric2022) for a preview of what’s coming. We are also aiming for a candidate pre-prelease in the next couple of months.

One of the major changes coming with GPUSPH v6 is a significant expansion of the hardware and operating systems supported by the software. As a teaser, here’s a screenshot of GPUSPH running on an Android cellphone:
