Customize path of output directory

To run and store my simulations neatly, I definitely need to customize the directory where the results are saved. Where can I set a new path for the results? I cannot seem to find this piece of information in the set-up guide.

Also, for uniformity with other scripts I have, it could be handy to customize the timestamp. Is that possible?

yes, you can set a customized path for the results using the option

--dir path/to/folder/new_folder_name

this will create a new folder with the name that you specify; you can choose the folder name in order to have the timestamp you need
